Meet Sophie
Sophie Elise Agbonkhese is a writer of contemporary fiction with a passion for crafting stories that explore identity, resilience, and human connection.
With a background in business and environmental sustainability, Sophie spent the early years of her career running a consultancy focused on helping organizations reduce their environmental impact. Now, she brings a nuanced perspective to her fiction and reflective writing, blending life experience with a love of storytelling.
Based on Canada’s west coast, Sophie homeschools her four children and enjoys finding inspiration in the natural beauty around her. She is currently pursuing undergraduate studies in English while writing and submitting short stories and poetry. Sophie is also revising an adult novel and developing a middle-grade manuscript.
In addition to her creative writing, Sophie shares insights on personal development, parenting, and home life at My Cup Runs Over and offers resources for writers and educators at Story Writing Academy.
